Impact Through Documentary Films and Nonfiction Books
We are currently supporting and managing two impact campaigns:
A campaign for the Eating Animals film which was directed, produced, and written by Christopher Quinn; produced and narrated by Natalie Portman; and produced and written by Jonathan Safran Foer. Information about our impact campaign is here.
A campaign for Jonathan Safran Foer’s new book, “We are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast”, to be published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in the USA on September 17, 2019.
We are also funding a project through the Milken Institute’s Center for Strategic Philanthropy that will create a how-to guide for philanthropists who are interested in using storytelling as a tool to create change in the areas which they care about. We will be highlighting case studies of successful impact efforts that have been done in collaboration with filmmakers, distributors, authors, and publishers to help with marketing, audience engagement, and educational distribution.
